Another lacklustre performance by Perth Glory have seen them fall to bottom of the table following a 1-0 loss to Adelaide United.
The Reds previously held the bottom place in the competition but were able to snatch their first victory of the season.
Terrible defence from the Glory saw Pablo Sanchez score the winner in just the third minute of the game. Sanchez strolled past an almost not existent Glory backline then dinked the ball over the goalkeeper and into the back of the net.
Adelaide have now leap frogged both Perth and Central Coast Mariners who are on 4 and 5 points respectively. Adelaide now sits on 6 points.
Adelaide dominated the match, ending up with 57% of the total possession.
The match that was delayed due to near 40 degree heat was extremely disappointing for Perth, as they aimed to prove that they deserved more than their early results had shown.
Following last season’s salary cap scandal, this season was touted to be Perth’s return to Glory but has yet to be shown.
