Perth glory are through to their second FFA Cup final after a confident boosting 3-1 victory over Melbourne City at nib Stadium.
Perth will meet the winner of next Wednesday’s second semi-final between Melbourne Victory and PS4 NPL side Hume City.
Melbourne City dominated the opening moments of the first half but fell behind following a tap in midway through the first half. Sandor was the goal scorer and now has 3 goals in his last 3 games.
Just two minutes before the break City’s Miller equalised the game and the Melbourne faithful felt they would go to the break on level terms.
A piece of route one football saw Fernandez get onto a long ball and lopping the City keeper to put Perth ahead going into the half-time break.
City pushed for an equaliser but we hit on the counter with Harold scoring the eventual winner to put Perth ahead 3-1.
A good result for the Glory who will hope to transfer this form into the A-League.
