Perth Glory has continued its recruitment with the signing of Olyroo and Young Socceroo, Christopher Josif Hagi Gligor. The 20-year old had previously spent four years at Sydney FC, coming through the clubs youth system before breaking into the first team at the age of 17.
Hagi Gligor made just 18 first-team appearances in his time with Sydney FC, the most notably of these being in this year’s Hyundai A-League Grand Final. Hagi Gligor also participated in the friendly matches against Chelsea and Tottenham.
Gligor has only signed a one year deal, but has an option to extend the contract for an additional year.
Gligor is yet another young and unproven player to join the Glory for the coming season. Can Perth bring these youngsters together to create a competitive team or will the 2015-2016 season be another disappointing one?
