Perth Glory are aiming to return to the top of the table this weekend when they travel away to the Central Coast Mariners. Perth have claimed all three points on both previous occasions that these sides have met this season. However, a poor start to 2015 has seen Perth lose top spot and slip down the table. A win on Sunday could see them leap back into top spot heading into the final stretch of the season.
Perth will be buoyed by the news that Mitch Nichols returns from suspension. The Glory faithful will be hoping he can link up with Andy Keogh as whenever the Irishman has scored this season, Perth has been undefeated. Keogh currently has the most shots on target in the league and the Mariners will need to look to shut him down if they are to get a result against the Glory. The Mariners have had a horror season under huge expectations. They currently sit 8th on the table with only four wins this campaign.
Danny Vukovic, who enjoy much success in his 5 years at the Mariners, is still in doubt for the game. Lowe was quoted in saying "He's got a bit of a knock, we'll see how we go".
